Seniors have a choice of several di erent venues and types of retreat. Some students camped in the Cuyahoga National Park. Others hiked in the Virginia Kendall Forest in the National Park. Some chose to zip through the trees of the Cleveland Metroparks at the Go Ape course in Strongsville. On the Art and Nature retreat, students re ected on the beauty of God’s creation, while using their own creativity to make a memento to remember the retreat. While zip lining, students learned that
unless we are connected to each other, they face the danger of falling down in life with no tether to catch them. e senior girls who attended the overnight Girls of
Grace retreat spent time re ecting on
how to continue to grow as women of
faith and strength. On the Men of Faith retreat, our young men continued to
explore the meaning of God in their lives and how to continue to live that out in all they do. A new retreat this year was the Urban Plunge. Students served breakfast, sorted clothing and helped sort vegetables at the Westside Catholic Center.
ey prayed and ate dinner with the Capuchin Volunteers in Cleveland.
Each Senior Retreat gave students the opportunity to step back and re ect on their rst three years at Padua, as well as a chance to look forward to the future. Along the way, they strengthened their bonds with classmates and their relationship with God.
