In the NWT, these particular verses are close enough to the KJB, that they
still teach the truths that JWs deny! (Unless they "update" their translation
again!)

THE DEITY OF HOLY SPIRIT:

Acts 5:3-4 "...why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost...
thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God."

THE DEITY OF CHRIST:

Luke 2:10-11 "And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I
bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For
unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ
the Lord."

Compare with:

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the
government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The
Prince of Peace."

John 1:29-31 "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and
saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a
man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. [John was born
3 months before Jesus! (Luke1-2)] And I knew him not: but that he
should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with
water."

Note that John the Baptist's job was to prepare the way for Jesus Christ.

Now compare that to this:
