Matthew 3:1-3 "In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the
wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of
heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet
Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the

way of the Lord, make his paths straight."

By replacing the words "the Lord" with "Jehovah" in that verse, the NWT
translators accidentally made it a stronger confirmation of Christ's deity!

Ephesians 4:4-5 "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called
in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,"

Compare with these 3 verses:

Isaiah 50:4 "The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned..."

Isaiah 51:22 "Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth
the cause of his people..."

1 Corinthians 16:23 "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you."

John 8:19-24 "...Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if
ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also... And he said
unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world;
I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in

your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins."

Isaiah 44:6 "Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer
the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me
there is no God."
