Let’s Practice…

               1. How do you know when a passage of Scripture is figurative and not literal?

               2. “All Scripture has a sense, but that sense is not always expressed in literal
                       .”

               3. Scripture to interpret Scripture. What does that mean?

               4. State a good rule to observe in dealing with questionable passages of Scripture.

               5. How can looking in a commentary help us to interpret a questionable verse?

                          Let’s get Personal…

Activity: Do you think you will ever come to the point that you understand everything in the Bible?
It is OK to say to someone, “I don’t know the answer to that question. Let me study on
it to see if I can find out a good solution.” Why would someone try to answer a difficult passage of
Scripture without doing any study to find out the truth?
