Activity: As we launch this course, it would be good for you to spend some time in prayer
asking God to show you were you may be tempted to believe Liberation and Prosperity
messages. Think through how it could affect your attitude toward God and ministry. Make a
list of every time Jesus or a Gospel writer says Jesus came for this or Jesus did not come for
that. Compare that list to what people expected Jesus to do in the text and what we expect
from Jesus today.
