In hard times, do you have a struggle believing and understanding the sovereignty of God?
You are not alone, if you do. So many Christians have a struggle. Understanding and
believing in God’s sovereignty does not come naturally because it is not in the human
sinful nature. That is why Luke would include stories in chapter 12 for us to see how God’s
sovereignty works in and through human struggles. I want to encourage you today that
you can rely on God’s sovereignty even when you suffer and God appears distant. God is in control
even when your faith is weak. God is in control even when wickedness seems to prosper! Remember
this truth, evil will finally be defeated!
