              • Remarrying the same woman:
o In the Torah, God commanded Moses that a man must not remarry his wife if after divorce she
                         has married another man.
 "If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds
something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her
and sends her from his house, and if after she leaves his house she becomes the wife of
another man, and her second husband dislikes her and writes her a certificate of
divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house, or if he dies, then her first
husband, who divorced her, is not allowed to marry her again after she has been
defiled. That would be detestable in the eyes of the LORD." - Deuteronomy 24:1-4
o The Qur'an allows a man to remarry his wife when after leaving him she has been married to
                         another man.
 "And if he hath divorced her (the third time), then she is not lawful unto him thereafter
until she hath wedded another husband. Then if he (the other husband) divorce her it is
no sin for both of them that they come together again if they consider that they are able
to observe the limits of Allah. These are the limits of Allah. He manifesteth them for
people who have knowledge." - Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:230
              • The death of Jesus:
o Jesus himself taught that he would die and be raised from the dead.
 "From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem
and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of
the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life." - Matthew
                                16:21
o Jesus taught that his death and resurrection were what the prophets before him had foretold.
 "He said to them, 'This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be
fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.' Then
he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, 'This is
what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and
repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations,
beginning at Jerusalem.'" - Luke 24:44-47
o Jesus explained the meaning of his death.
 "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever
wants to be first must be your slave serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." -

o The Qur'an teaches that Jesus never died on the cross.
 "That they said (in boast), 'We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of
Allah'; but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them,
and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only
conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not. Nay, Allah raised him up unto
Himself; and Allah is exalted in power, wise." - An-Nisa (Women) 4:157-58
              • The account of Noah:
o The Old Testament teaches that all of Noah's sons came into the ark with him.
 "This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless
among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. Noah had three sons:
Shem, Ham and Japheth. The LORD then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your
