Have you ever seen someone at church lay their Bible on the floor or toss it in their car? At church one day I saw
the pastor’s son standing on his Bible so he could see over the person in front of him. It seems that some Christians
do not respect or care for God’s Book.
Just the opposite is true of the Muslim and the Qur’an. They place it in an elevated place in their home and
reverence it…almost to worshipping the book itself. And they will defend it and its treatment even unto death.
Maybe we can learn something from the Muslim on how we should care for our Scriptures? Maybe we need to
make some changes in our lives that reflect our view of how holy our Bible and it’s story is? What changes are
needed in your life?
