Activity: Do you work from the “big idea” in your sermons. After reading a passage, there
ought to be some “big idea” that God is trying to teach us. From there, we build the sermon
from the information that the Bible presents to us about the big idea. Is that how you create
your sermons? What changes do you plan to make in the future?
