Request Forgiveness

                   a. In what ways have you cried out to the Lord to cleanse you?

                   b. Do you believe that you need the Lord to cleanse you (not just in general, but with this issue
                       specifically)?

                   c. Have you sought forgiveness from others you may have harmed?

                   d. When you seek forgiveness from others, do you expect it? Or do you seek it, believing that you do
not deserve his or her forgiveness?

               4. Commit to Change
                   a. Have you sincerely asked the Lord to change you? (To change the way you are thinking, feeling,
                       acting, not acting?)

                   b. Do you believe that the Lord can and will change you? (Eph 3:30-21, 4:22-24)

                   c. Do you think that this will not get better or that you’re stuck with these sinful habits?

                   d. Have you committed to the Lord, and to others, that you will change no matter what, even if your
circumstances do not change? Are you asking for help?

                   e. Why should you commit to changing, even if your circumstances do not?

                   f. How can you “plan to repent”? What specific steps do you think you should take now?
