20.4 Let’s Practice…

                        1. List some of the complexities of the brain:

                        2. Do you agree with this statement? It would be foolish to suggest that time and chance
could make a computer or a microwave oven, or that the individual parts could form
themselves into these complex mechanisms due to the physical properties of matter. Yet, life
is far, far more complex than any man-made machine.

               3. What is the name of the organization set up to allow various scientists around the world to, as one
voice, claim they deny that evolution is the source of the complexity of life as we know it?

               20.5 Let’s Personalize this Lesson…

Well, you have come to the end of your study on Genesis. You have studied in detail the first
two chapters of Genesis, God’s account of the Creation of the universe. We have also looked
at the chapters on the Genesis Flood. It is either fact or fable. It is time to decide. Either we
have a God who created all things in a spoken word, or we have no God and all things came
into being by random chance apart from any intelligent guidance or direction. We really only
have one of two choices. God created or everything evolved by chance.

As a student of God’s Word, we know you want to put your foundation in God’s Word. But know this,
your faith in the Bible is supported by scientific observations and data. The observable universe all
points to the FACT that God created in six days then rested on the seventh.

Take time to thank the Lord for creating you, your family, your home, your ministry, and for
opportunities to serve Him. We can rest in His plans for our lives, knowing that He is in control of
everything come in the future. He is an amazing God!

Thank you for taking this course. We hope you have been challenged in your faith and have learned
much to support your faith as you encounter others who do not believe in a Creator. Use what you have
learned to share with them that there is a God, that He created, and that He provided for them a way
back to Him. May God richly bless you in ministry!
