Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Work is the third element. We should not just sit idly by, waiting for God’s
blessings to shower on us without doing our part and working for it. We must,
while waiting on the Lord and worshipping, work towards our God-given goals, in
preparation for the time the Lord has chosen to reveal His will and His blessings on
               us.

Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,
since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.

2 Thessalonians 3:10 If a man will not work, he shall not eat.

               Becoming Faithful Stewards

Our number one calling from God is to be FAITHFUL managers of what He entrusts
to us. And every bit of money He gives us is entrusted for careful care.

Matthew 25:14 Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his
servants and entrusted his wealth to them.

Whose wealth is entrusted? God’s wealth! To whom does He entrust? Us! It’s not
our wealth, it is God’s but He gives us the opportunity to manage it for Him. But it is God who gives us
the ability to manage and produce an increase.

Deuteronomy 8:18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce
wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

God expects us to be GREAT stewards of what He entrusts to us. And how we care for God’s money is a
reflection on our own Christian character.

Luke 16: 10-12 Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is
dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. 11 So if you have not been trustworthy in
handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? 12 And if you have not been trustworthy
with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?

As God finds us faithful, He can trust us with more.

I Corinthians 4:2 Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.

Remember, He Will Never Leave You or Forsake You

God has promised us that He will never leave us or forsake us. He is always
faithful and will be our provider if we ask. Jesus points to the fact that even the
