6. Seek Trusted Counsel
Ask a trusted Christian investment counselor to assist you as you develop your
investment plan.
Proverbs 15:22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude
of counselors they are established.
7. Pay off all debt BEFORE investing
You are obligated to use any extra monies you have to pay off any person or institution you owe. After
you are debt free, then you are free to use extra funds for investing capital.
Romans 13:8 ESV Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has
fulfilled the law.
8. Be cautious of the RISKS involved.
Remember . . . investments with “no risk” and a high percentage yield are investment
scams. You cannot get rich overnight with investments. If you think you can, you will
lose what you have to invest. Others will be happy to take your money dishonestly.
Consider LOW risk investments as a beginner. Perhaps invest in property that you can
control, or a machine that will provide future income. Invest in yourself and in your
future, before joining with someone else. Ask God for GUIDANCE.
Proverbs 24: 3–4 Through wisdom is an house built; and by understanding it is
established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious
and pleasant riches.
