32. Reading aloud or Reading to the students. Students normally enjoy this experience and will listen
carefully, depending on the story or material.
33. Prepare editorial for school or church paper – A writing assignment but can be a lot of opinions and
very little content.
34. Volunteer (tutoring, hospital) Good for helping a student apply the lessons learned to real life.
35. Brainstorming. This is an event where you open the class up for suggestions. Perhaps they may
come up with some excellent ideas that may help you become a better teacher. Sometimes students
think of things that a teacher may never think about.
