7. As you give, others will respond in prayer for you. Do you want others to pray for you? Give as
Christ puts the desire in your heart and others will respond by praying for you. What a wonderful
               promise accompanies grace giving!

14 And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has
               given you.

               11. Write out a short paragraph which is the answer to your original topical question. My original
question was, “What pattern has God laid down for me to give in the Bible?” I also had a question
whether my pastor was teaching what the Bible said about giving to the church. I have come to the
conclusion that my pastor is in error. God does not want us to give patterned by the Mosaic Law.

I did, however, discover that God has definitely laid down a pattern for my giving. I suppose you could
call it “grace giving”. It seems to be loftier than the giving requirements under the Law. Simply put, it is
“give as a reflection of your love for your Savior”? No certain amount. No regulations or rules. Just give
all you can. Give to the church. Give to those in need. Just give. And as a result, you will be blessed
beyond measure and God will give back to you in return.

               12. Plan your lesson presentation. In the next section in this course, the course instructor will teach
you how to plan the presentation. I just followed the steps outlined and found the class very open to
the truths of God’s Word as I presented them using 5 different teaching methods. I think they GOT it.

               13. Evaluate the results of your study. I could not be more thrilled! I feel that I was released from the
weight of the law to a new freedom to be able to give with a truly cheerful attitude. I discovered that
attached to every gift I give come a multitude of blessings.

               14. Save your lesson for future presentations. I certainly plan to keep this study and expand on it in
               the future.
