9.5 Let’s Personalize this Lesson…

Activity: Notice that Paul listed several qualifications for a person to become either a pastor or
deacon. What he was listing is a person whose Biblical Ethic is proved by his reputation and
behavior. While these certainly are important qualifications for these offices, they also should be
characteristic of all believers (except perhaps the ability to teach and not a novice). Go through the
list and see if you have any weaknesses in any of the areas listed. Write them here:
