conviction on those who interfaced with Him. In fact, He was killed by the Sanhedrin because He had
told them they were false religious leaders, which was so true. Being light in darkness will result in
sufferings.

II Timothy 3:12 Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted

6. It is God’s will that you seek Him for Guidance. If you lack the wisdom to know what to do, ask God
for special wisdom, and he promises to grant it to you.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all

your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and

it will be given him.

7. IF you are obeying all of the above, the will of the Lord is based on your desires. Does that sound a
bit crazy? The Bible says that if you have placed the Lord as center of your life (ie., you are saved, Spirit-
controlled, sanctified, submissive, willing to suffer and seek Him), then God will give you the desires of
your heart. Of course, if you are living for Christ, He will put His desires in your heart. Psalm 27:4 says
that God will put into your heart His desires for you. He will direct you by the desires He instills in your
mind.

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. (ESV)

A believer who is operating within a Spirit-controlled, sanctified, submissive life will be yielded to the
direction God puts into his heart. So his desires will become God’s desires. So as long as you are
obeying God in the above areas, the will of God for you is what you desire to do. Remember this verse:

Psalm 143:10Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level
ground!

As you launch out to do God’s will, He promises to direct you on your path. Your plans may change, but
His will is going to be revealed along the path.
