13.4 Let’s Practice…
1. Define a physical law or scientific law:.
2. What does the 1 Law of Thermodynamics state?

3. What does the 2 Law of Thermodynamics state?

4. How does the 2 Law of Thermodynamics oppose evolutionary mechanisms?
5. Cite several examples where the universe opposes the law of Conservation of Angular Momentum if
the Big Bang actually happened.
6. Explain what a Irreducible Complexity is?
7. Cite several examples of irreducible complex systems in nature.
8. Explain why an irreducible complex system cannot have evolved?
13.5 Let’s Personalize this Lesson…
As you saw in this lesson, evolution theory flies in the face of known physical laws of nature
nd
(created by God and applied throughout the entire universe). We also discovered that the 2
Law of Thermodynamics was created by God as a result of sin entering the world. God’s
creation was perfect, but sin brought in decay and destruction. This law says that everything
is dying. And isn’t this what God promised to Adam and Eve if they disobeyed Him? Death came
spiritually the moment they ate the forbidden fruit and disobeyed. But physical death was also initiated
that very second. Man began to die.
We are all dying. It is our future but also our present condition. We have a limited time on earth to
honor the Lord and serve Him, because we are all under the curse of death. God tells us to maximize
the use of our time. Are you doing anything in your life to waste the time you have? Are you using
every moment to prepare for an eternal future? God says, “Redeem the time, because the days are
evil” Eph. 5:16. Probably an expanded translation would be, “Make the most use of your time, taking
advantage of each opportunity and use it with wisdom and diligence, because the days are filled with all
kinds of evil.” Are you doing that? Or are you allowing distractions in your life to take you time from
God or to waste the time God has given you. Remember, the clock is ticking. Redeem it!
