Activity: The Edomites were prideful people. Pride is a very serious problem in the Bible.
Proverbs 16:18-19 says:
18 Pride leads to destruction, and arrogance to downfall.
19 It is better to be humble and stay poor than to be one of the arrogant and get a share of
their loot.
Pride will result in disaster in our lives. It puts our self in first place and removes the Lord from reigning
in our lives. It is really a form of rebellion against God’s sovereignty.
What things are you prideful about?
Why not pray to the Lord and yield these areas to Him. Let Him reign as first place in your life.
