behalf of whom Christ died. Therefore, let not the good thing be blasphemed among you. For the kingdom
of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in Holy Spirit; for the one who in this
way is serving the Christ is pleasing to God and approved among men. Therefore, then the things about
peace let us pursue and the things about edification unto one another. Do not for the sake of food destroy
the work of God. All things are clean, but are evil to the person who on account of stumbling eats. It is
good to not eat meat neither drink wine neither by anything in which your brother might be tripped up.
Your faith which you have have according to yourself before God. Blessed is the one who does not judge
himself in what he approves; now the one who doubts when he would eat stands condemned, because not
out of faith; but everything that is not out of faith is sin.

Do not use your freedom in Christ to judge one another or to keep another believer from growing in their
trust in and service to Christ.

Now we, those who are strong, are obligated to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please
ourselves. Each of us let him please the fellow human being unto good toward edification; for also Christ
did not please himself, but just as it is written, “The insults of the ones insulting you fell upon me.” For
what things were written in the past, unto our instruction was written, so that through the endurance and
through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Now the God of endurance and
comfort might he give to you the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one
mind in one voice you might glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Despite your differences pursue living in such a way that your harmonious relationships show God’s glory
              in the world.

Wherefore welcome one another, just as Christ has welcomed you into the glory of God. For I say Christ
has become a servant of circumcision on behalf of God’s truth, in order to confirm the promises of the
fathers, now to the Gentiles on behalf of mercy to glorify God just as it has been written,

“Because of this thing I will praise you in the nations and in your name I will sing.”
              And again it says,
“Rejoice nations with his people.” And again,
“Praise, all the nations, the Lord and they have praised him all the peoples.” And again Isaiah says,
“The root of Jesse will be even the one who arises as ruler of nations upon Him a nation will hope.”
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in the believing, so that you might overflow in
hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

As Christ has worked on your behalf to show God’s love and mercy to you, so you must accept one another
              in spite of your differences.
