Welcome to the fourth edition of the South Texas Edge! The flowers are in bloom and the fresh springtime air moves in reminding us that the best is yet to come. It is hard to believe that we are approaching the end of the second quarter with summer just a few weeks away. The South Texas Region continues to stay focused on patients working together to increase awareness of diabetes and obesity throughout the region.
As mentioned last year, each e-book will focus on a specific theme. This edition will concentrate on increasing knowledge, communication, and collaboration between Obesity and Diabetes so that we can all truly function as One Team. There is excitement in the air as the Diabetes teams are pushing with full force to introduce Ozempic 2mg and continue to gain momentum with Rybelsus in the oral market. The Obesity Dream Team continues to persevere in collaboration with Obesity Educator counterparts to discuss the science of obesity and the activation story as the sales force promotes Saxenda in the face Wegovy shortages. At the same time, the Diabetes Educators are supporting the 2mg Ozempic launch and emphasizing the cardiometabolic paradigm shift in the guidelines as they prepare for the launch a CV and DM Certification to important customers throughout the territory. The South Texas Region is growing stronger and working together to present a unified NNI front to customers and exhibit true Sema Synergy. As One Team, we will continue to keep the patient at the forefront of our efforts as we expand the knowledge and utilization of semaglutide in our communities.
