Operational excellence milestone at Carnduff

We achieved an operational milestone last
month, when we loaded a 169-car unit
train from our Carnduff facility. This is the
largest, fully intact power-on train we’ve
ever loaded in Western Canada, which was
loaded with large yellow peas in 13 hours,
and went to our Pacific port terminal in
Vancouver. The total tonnage was 17,077
metric tonnes, or about 101 mt/car. This
broke the previous record Carnduff set
when it loaded a 168-car unit train with
       canola in June.
Currently, we have two more 168-car
unit trains scheduled for Carnduff in
September. One is lined up to be loaded
with milling wheat headed to Thunder
Bay, while the other is scheduled to load
canola and large yellow peas destined for
       Vancouver.
This is a great testament to our focus
on operational excellence, and the work
we’ve done to ensure our facilities are
as efficient as possible. Thank you to our
team in Carnduff for their great work! 168 car train in Carnduff, SK

       Customer appreciation BBQs were hosted
