2. Move

Living things must move. Moving by living things

means moving from a place or position with their

own efforts. Humans and animals move with the

help of their organs of movement. Humans with

their feet, animals with fins, legs and wings.

While plants move based on the direction of

arrival of stimuli, for example sunflowers move Living things move

3. Grow and Thrive

Humans, animals and plants also

experience growth and
development. This can be observed
from the changes in height and

body shape of living things. In
humans, growth and development

have certain phases, starting from
babies, children, then becoming
adults. In plants the growth phase

includes seeds, germination, and
mature plants. Whereas in animals,

growth and development occur in
