C. Summary

1. Removing Residual Substances. Living things that need food, will

excrete waste substances through certain organs. These residual
substances are removed after food and drink have experienced

optimal absorption.

2. Composed of Cells. Basically, living things have bodies composed
of one or many cells. In the human body, there are various types

of cells, including RNA cells and DNA cells as genetic material.
There are also living things with a single cell, for example,
prokaryotic cells. Prokaryotic cells were the first organisms to

live on earth, for example archaebacteria/eubacteria and blue
green algae. Meanwhile, animals and plants are generally

eukaryotic cells, cells that are the most complex when compared

to prokaryotic cells.
