The first is the word on and above, which
both mean "above". The word on is used
when two objects that are connected are
touching, as in the picture of a bird perched
on a box. Meanwhile, above is used when the
two objects are separated by a distance, as in
the image of a bird flying over a box.
The second is the use of the words under and below. This
time it means both "below". If the word under is used, it
means that one object is covering another, as in the
picture of a cat under a chair. Usually, when a cat hides
under a chair, it doesn't look like it's closed, right? Well,
eating here uses the word under. Then, the use of the
word below is when there is no object covering the other
object. An example is the rabbit under the lamp. So even
under the lights, we can still see the rabbit clearly.
