BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN FISHERIES

                                                                                       Level III Phase 2



               Research and Extension

                       Research and extension activities are conducted by the Fisheries and Marine


               Science Department to support instruction activities through providing opportunities

               that allowed the students to:


                       1.  Experience working in the field (see Figure 1.7)

                       2.  Experience data gathering using instrument for fisheries-related research

                          parameters (see Figures 1.7 and 1.9)


                       3.  Work on research topics that are relevant to current research projects;

                       4.  Use research data in their own research studies and curricular activities;


                          and

                       5.  Be exposed in community setting and community-based activities.




                       Research and extension activities are relevant to the BSF program. The areas


               of research of the program are anchored to the Research and Extension Agenda of

               Cavite  State  University,  which  is  anchored  to  the  Regional  and  National  R&E


               Agendas.
