orientation program for new employees. During this activity, existing rules,
regulations, and policies of the campus are discussed.

Learning Activities and Outcome-Based Assessment
To produce the intended program outcomes of the BS Fisheries program, the
Fisheries and Marine Science Department (FMSD) faculty members include more
outcome-based activities in delivering their topics. Faculty members are engaged in
the use of High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) strategies when possible.
