Into the World

         earth, to a sociopolitical speculator psychologically fixated upon
         physical causes, to an astrological sign whose attributes include
         stubborn pragmatism and skeptical materialism.
             Finally, the poem rests on the image of the mind as a literal field
         of  thought.  Like  arable  land,  the  malleable  brain  is  furrowed;
         through history, each has worked upon the other, shaping the
         contours of agriculture and imagination. This defines a two-way,
         therefore more complex, relationship of man and his labor, a
         dialectic process not properly seen from a bull’s-eye view.
