Fraxinella
Finally Apis had his fill. Slowly, reluctantly, he flew out of
Fraxinella’s delightful bouquet and headed north. The roses watched
him go, knowing he might be the last bee of the season. Then—
boom! A great blast of hot gas brought their attention back sharply to
the plant standing at their center. Noon had come, and Fraxinella had
changed back to her plain and strange old self.
