Fraxinella
Again, the roses nearest her had their petals singed. Having no
experience of Fairy Gardenmothers, they could not figure out what
had happened: how could Fraxinella disappear for a morning and
then reappear? And what had become of the magnificent rosebush
who had stood in her place during that time? These were mysteries
they could not solve. But they were unanimous in their decision to
isolate Fraxinella as before. Again she was left alone to brood upon
her tragic lot in life.
