Morning
One penny change. I can remember when a penny had some value
all by itself. “Thanks. Uh, gracias.”
Ought to recall the bloody things. Could make a million miles of
copper wire. Take back the nickels, too; make batteries or whatever.
Everything neatly decimalized to the nearest dime. Round it up or
round it down. What effect would that have on prices? All those
countries, rich and poor, with no high-denomination bills on the
theory that their mere existence would be inflationary. Could that be
true? Hardly a matter for me to worry about. Maybe I should buy a
Sunday Times and find something more worthwhile to worry about.
No. That’s one rule I will not break. No ups and downs stimulated by
politically-motivated false journalism. My delicate emotional balance
cannot take the roller-coaster ride of rising trends and dashed hopes.
Better the stability of paranoia, eh, Nate? I am still sweating and these
clothes are really filthy now. Better take a shower before getting back
