Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow—
Cripes! I’m stuck in a loop from day to day
To the last off-ramp of this damned freeway,
And all our mobile phones have lighted fools
The way to airbag death. Move, move, get a horse!
Wife’s but a backseat driver, egging me on
To curse and honk my horn and vent my rage
And then is heard no more: I drive a car
Sold by an idiot, to be junked for cash,
Terrifying cyclists.

Note: inspiration for the card came from wondering what self-driving
cars would do if four of them arrived simultaneously at a four-way
stop. Such thoughts may be a contemporary manifestation of
amaxophobia, the fear of riding in a vehicle.
