One of the Vegimals closest to him responded, while the others
continued to froth and fume. “He left us when we stopped for a rest
near the Mazorxam. As far as I know, he may still be there.”
Kaga thanked him and left the band of squabbling Vegimals. Back
in the Terrall he regressed the map to the point where the Molgoza
had passed by the Mazorxam. It was more than fifty kilometers away,
but the most recent frame showed that they had neither moved nor
come in contact with any other group since then. Thus encouraged,
he headed in a beeline for their location. Night was falling on planet
Q75-29.
