Sharyn Potter, Ph.D., MPH, Professor/ Executive Director, Prevention Innovations Research Center, UNH
Sharyn J. Potter, PhD, MPH, is a Professor in the
Department of Women and Gender Studies and the Co-
founder and Executive Director of Research at the
Prevention Innovations Research Center: Ending Sexual
and Relationship Violence and Stalking at the University of
New Hampshire. She is also the Co-founder and Vice-
President of Research of Soteria Solutions. Dr. Potter is a
national expert on designing and administering sexual
violence prevalence studies. Dr. Potter’s work has been
groundbreaking in her effort to partner with organizations as they strategize and implement cultural change that impacts all organizational levels. Her work has been cited in international and national news media including the Guardian, New York Times, National Public Radio, Vox, Teen Vogue and Chronicle of Higher Education.
Dan St. Romain, National Educational Consultant & Founder, Dan St. Romain Educational Consulting
Dan St. Romain is a national independent educational consultant who provides staff development and consultative services to educators working with students at all developmental levels. Dan is passionate about helping educators shift their perspective on discipline, understanding the best ways to provide support given the challenges posed in today’s classroom. After receiving his Master’s degree in Education, Dan worked in both private residential and public school settings, as well as at the Region 20 Education Service Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dan’s overwhelming strength is his skill as a presenter. Although his sessions are exceedingly interactive, his greatest asset lies in his ability to offer participants rich insight into the connectedness between educational practices and student behavior. He the author of Positive Behavior Principles and Teach Skills and Break Habits: Growth Mindsets for Better Behavior in the Classroom, as well as several resources for teaching social skills at the primary level, featuring his Chameleon, Juan Pablo.
