 Chores and jobs
Life can be SO unfair sometimes. There you are, hard at work annoying your sister, playing Evil Zombie Brainsuckers 2 on your console or picking your nose when your mum rocks up and asks you to do a chore.
A chore? A ChOrE? Can’t you see I’m unbelievably busy here, Mother? Noses don’t pick themselves, you know!
But for some reason she won’t listen and you have to spend literally minutes emptying the dishwasher.
That might sound unbearable, but if you think you’ve got it bad,getaloadofthis...
 In ancient Egypt, children were gradually introduced to their parents’ work from a much younger age than today.
As the majority of youngsters rarely attended school, there was plenty of time for them to get their hands dirty in the fields, at home and in the workshop.
 FANCY THAT!
Men usually washed clothes in the river instead of women, because of the risk from crocodiles. And they had to be snappy about it!
