When was the last time you saw a dog with a schoolbag? Or heard a cat grumbling about having to do homework?
Never, that’s when. Because animals have it easy.
You, on the other hand, have to get up at silly o’clock in the morning, put on a school uniform and go off to have your brain stuffed with facts.
No girls allowed!
But if you think you’ve got it bad . . . you’re very much mistaken.
Would it help if we grew beards?
FANCY THAT!
Formal schooling was mostly for the boys of wealthier families. Girls only rarely had an education outside of the home, which seems pretty unfair.
