Kissing a mule’s nose was said to stop sneezing and hiccups, and if you were stung by a sCoRpIoN, whispering in a donkey’s ear would mean that the pain was immediately transferred to the donkey. It’s not clear if whispering in a scorpion’s ear would help if you were bitten by a donkey, but anything’s worth a try.
