You will need:
a large, clean, dry glass jar
tiny nature bits: small stones, twigs, leaves, flowers, shells, feathers . . . anything goes!
pea gravel (optional) glue
NATURE MEMORY JAR
On your next holiday or family day out, why not collect special treasures to remind you of your adventure? It’s a wonderful way of making memories last!
Choose what sort of jar you would like to make: woodland, seaside, garden . . . or a memory of any other kind of trip!
After you collect your nature treasures, leave them to dry completely, then place them carefully inside your jar. If you are creating a scene, you could put in a small layer of pea gravel first, which helps to hold everything in place. Or just pop it all in together in one happy mix!
Decorate the lid
by gluing on more nature treasures. When the glue is dry, put the lid on the jar.
