Toasty Cinnamon Stars
Light up a dark winter afternoon with warming cinnamon French toast! This sweet treat is fun to make and eat together.
Put the egg, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract and salt in a bowl, and beat it together using a fork.
Lay your slices of bread flat on a board. Using your cutter, carefully cut out star shapes from each slice. If you have a small cutter, you might even be able to make more than one star from each piece of bread.
Soak your stars in the egg mixture until they are completely covered.
Now ask a grown-up to heat a lightly oiled frying pan over a medium heat. When the pan is hot, ask your grown-up to carefully place your stars into the pan. Cook evenly on both sides, until the stars are crisp and lightly browned.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve warm as as a super sparkly snack!
