Dark caves and skin tents seem almost normal compared to some Stone Age huts that have been found in Eastern Europe. They were made from . . . MAMMOTH BONES!
To build these houses, the giant jaws of the mammoth were locked together to make a low wall and the huge ribs (and sometimes tusks) were placed upright to make a dome- shaped frame that was probably covered in animal
hide (skins). Why not try building your own version using bones from chicken drumsticks and banana skins? Good luck!
I´m going to go inside the bone-and-animal- skin house and you have to find me, OK?
HIDE and seek!
What do you call this new game?
If you know a friendly butcher, perhaps you could ask for some spare bones so you can start building a cool gAnG HuT in your garden. Just watch out for hungry dogs . . .
