The different parts inside your body are called organs
and it’s helpful to think of them working together in groups. Each group of organs has a very important job to do and
is known as a system.
Muscular system
Underneath your skin, your muscles work with your skeleton to help you to move.
Skeletal system
Beneath your muscles are the bones that make up your skeleton and give your body its shape.
Respiratory system
Inside your chest are lungs which let you breathe.
Circulatory system
Your heart and blood vessels send blood all around your body.
Digestive system
Your stomach and intestines break down food so it can be used by the body.
Excretory system
Your kidneys and bladder get rid of things your body doesn’t need.
Nervous system
This is how your brain sends and receives messages around your body.
