Cast is also the venue of the spectacular Colour of Light event on September 22.

7Heritage Open Days Cusworth Hall DN5 7TU and Hyde Park Cemetery DN5 5AA
A series of events have been organised over the weekend of September 9-10.
At Grade1 listed Cusworth Hall these mark the 300th birthday of the famous architect James Paine and include tours of the restored walled gardens and a chance to see original Wrightson family documents from the Doncaster Archives.
Also for Heritage weekend the Friends of Hyde Park Cemetery have tours on both Saturday and Sunday with the la er themed along Planes, Trains and Automobiles lines. www.visitdoncaster.com

Tickhill Cricket Club is the venue for one of Doncaster’s largest outdoor music events of the year. The main stage this year is headlined by 90’s boyband Five and local crowd pleasers Bang Bang Romeo. Family tickets are £60 on
the day (£45 in advance).

Doncaster Town Cricket Club, Sunday September 10 Combining a charity cricket match with a family day
out with stalls, rides and a ractions alongside business marquees for those of a sporting persuasion. Hospitality marquees available. Also includes barbeque, bouncy castles, mini kicks, slides and trampolines as well as great entertainment for all the family. Come and join in the fun as the Business All Stars take on the Commercial Legends.
Gates open at noon and the game starts at 1pm. Adults £2.50, family ticket £5 and children under 16 free.
