1DFS Ladies’ Day
Thursday September 14
One of South Yorkshire’s biggest social occasions where stylish out ts and stunning headwear only
add to the air of fun and sophistication.
Ladies will also have a chance to win a haul of enviable prizes via the Best Dressed Lady competition, when
the most stylish ladies will
be picked from the crowd
by racecourse scouts to be judged in the parade ring. A er racing the County crowd can dance the night away with popular TV personality Vernon Kay, who will perform a DJ set live with great music and banter.

Friday September 15
It’s the gents’ turn when men from across the region dust down their suits and enjoy seeing some of the top names in horse racing, while being in with a chance of winning the Best Dressed Gent Competition!
A er racing we welcome the Krazy Keys’ sound to Town Moor.
An experienced and energetic female-fronted party band, able to ignite any audience, the four-piece will be taking over the Hallam FM Champagne Lawn as soon as racing nishes.

Wednesday September 13
The festival begins with
our annual Leger Legends charity race.
Leger Legends invites retired heroes of the turf for one
last spin around Town Moor – all in aid of the Northern Racing College and Jack Berry House, a rehabilitation facility for all injured jockeys.
First run in 2010, the race has seen several renowned racing gures ride to victory, including 20-time Champion Jump Jockey AP McCoy, who won in 2015, and St Leger winner Joseph O’Brien, who was victorious at last year’s running.
4William Hill St Leger Day Saturday September 16
The renowned Leger Day that hosts the world’s oldest classic – the William Hill St Leger.
O the race track we are joined by Doncaster-based band Hi-Fi Deluxe, who have performed alongside greats such as Candi Staton, The Temptations and Smokey Robinson.

The William Hill St Leger holds a special place in history as the world’s oldest classic.
Named a er local sportsman Anthony St Leger, who lived at Park Hill near Doncaster and run over a distance in excess of a mile and three quarters, the great race dates back to 1776 and is considered to be the ultimate
