of the 2018/19 year 11 cohort's fantastic
achievement of 57% of students attaining a
5+ in English and maths. This figure is 10% higher than the North Yorkshire average
and 14% higher than national average. The successes of last year are testament
to high quality teaching and excellent engagement of students at the academy.
Outwood Academy Ripon has consistently achieved excellent results during recent years however this year's attainment is the highest it has been over the last three years. It is highly significant that during these three years of wonderful attainment scores in English and maths the academy's progress score has been never been below +0.70, indicating the Academy's strong commitment to performance in all areas of the curriculum.

Batley Girls' High School is extremely proud and delighted to be top of the Kirklees League Tables for KS4 with a Progress 8 score of +0.69, which is "well above the national average", with 62% also entering English Baccalaureate (EBacc). Our disadvantaged students did exceptionally well.
The school is consistently one of the top performing schools for progress in Kirklees and is 5th out of
55 similar schools nationally.
