The Ruth Gorse Academy is an Outstanding provider (Ofsted July 2017), delivering high quality education for each and every student in the centre of Leeds. Our first set of GCSE results this summer have seen the academy achieve
an impressive Progress 8 score for all students, including those who face disadvantage. These results place us amongst the top performing schools in both the Leeds Local Authority and in the national performance tables. Woodkirk Academy
Woodkirk Academy students continued their outstanding examination outcomes last summer. At GCSE, students achieved at least one grade better than others nationally in one third of all their qualifications.
At Sixth Form, students enjoyed progress that was significantly higher than other students nationally with an
A Level pass rate of 100%. Overall, 55% of outcomes were A* - B or equivalent.
