QED (QEGS Enrichment and Development)
QED is designed to add that vital edge to what is already a high octane academic diet.
Top universities and employers are crying out not just for high grades but also for those sparks of creativity, resilience, teamwork and leadership which differentiate the best from the rest; QED
is designed explicitly to foster these.
Every boy at QEGS, from Year 7 to Year 13, is involved on Wednesday afternoons. It is a chance for them to customise a small corner of their timetable by choosing from a wide range of activities led predominantly by QEGS staff both on and offsite.
Boys take part in up to ve different blocks during the year from a menu of 96 activities including,
to name a few, animation, bush craft, circus skills, dog training, Indian cookery, kayaking, Lazertag, mountain biking, Pilates, sculpture, touch-typing or Ultimate Frisbee — the choice is mind-blowing!
QED offers boys of different ages the opportunity to mix and enjoy activities together, as well as unearthing hidden talents which might otherwise lie dormant!
