CONCLUSION
For countries to avoid falling behind, their governments
and institutions must, wherever possible, lead the way
by investing in and making technology available across
the countries entire population, rather than focusing on
incremental innovation that results in positive change
for only limited sectors of their country.
Wediscovered how online data collection and harvesting
are causing unimaginable amounts of data to be
generated.Although, there aremany ways to collect data,
it is becoming clear that data for data exchangedonline
is the simplest and most effective means of leveraging
our digital power, because we give our data every time
we go online or use a technology device that can track
our activities and movements. Data is only valuable
when it can be converted into insights and used to train
AI through ML to producepowerful algorithms that drive
results and efficient decision making.
We investigated the concept of privacy and discovered
that it has all but vanishedor is constantly under attack,
particularly because we leave a digital footprint almost
everywherewe go online, unknowingly providing a digital
inventory that can be used to profit from our identity.
