Your Supplier Evaluation Risk, or SER rating. This
number is designed to predict the risk that your
business may cease operating or become inactive in
the next 12 months. This particular number is used by
businesses who may wish to hire your business as a
supplier of parts and services to learn how likely your
business is to continue supplying parts and services
without interruption.
SER ratings range from 1-9, with 9 representing the
highest risk that your business will be unable to
reliably supply parts and services, and 1 representing
the lowest risk.
Your Credit Limit Recommendation. This is a dollar
amount representing the maximum amount of credit
Dun & Bradstreet would recommend that a lender
lend you. This may be used to determine the credit
limit on your new credit lines, or the size of any loans
you may receive.
Dun & Bradstreet Rating. This is an overall score based
on your company’s size, industry, financials, and other
factors. Higher scores indicate that a company is more
likely to be successful in the long-term and is more
likely to pay back its creditors.
D&B Viability Rating. This is a performance rating that
predicts the likelihood that a business will file for
bankruptcy, cease operations, or close its doors
completely within the next 12 months.
D&B Cyber Risk Rating. This is an evaluation of how
likely cyber threats are to interrupt your operations.
This is based on factors like your company’s degree of
data and network security, and the extent to which
your company’s operations and finances depend on
these computer systems to continue functioning.
