Clubs ABOUT DUBAI
Dubai is located in the
United Arab Emirates.
The Emirate of Dubai is
located on the Southeast
Music Coast of the Persian Gulf
and is one of the Seven
Emirates that make up the
country.
Its strategic geographic
location made the town an
important trading hub and
by the beginning of the
20th century, Dubai was
already an important
regional part.
We left Kenya on the 4th of
September, 2013 night for Dubai, the journey was smooth. We arrived Dubai on the
5th morning and our tour guide picked us from the Airport and drove us to the
hotel.
During our stay in Dubai, we visited a lot of wonderful places like, Bur Dubai, Dubai
Mall, Burj Khalifa, Ski Dubai, Underwater zoo, Palm Jumerriah Island, Jumerriah
Beach, Jumerriah Mosque, Palm Jumerriah Shopping Mall, Buri-Arab Waterfalls and
fountain, Dancing Fountain, Emirate Mall, Kidzania, Children's City, Desert Safari,
and Sharjah Desert Camp.
Bur Dubai is a historic district in Dubai United Arab Emirate, located on the
western side of the Dubai Creek. It is a home to several popular places for
tourists including renovated historic buildings and museums. We took the Dubai
Metro Red Line from Bur Dubai and did a city tour, it was awesome. We saw lots of
skyscrapers, Dubai pyramid and many fun places.
The Dancing Fountain was out of this world, it is the world's largest dancing
fountain set in Burj Khalifa Lake, right outside the Dubai Mall on the lower
ground water front. The fountain shoots water that goes as high as 500ft,
equivalent to that of a 50 storey building and dances choreographically to the
music; in fact one of the children (David Thompson) said he feels like he is in
heaven.
Ballet The Dubai Mall is the world's most visited and largest shopping mall in the
.
world. It took 4 years and 1,380,000 men to build it
It is located at the base of Burj Khalifa. The materials for building was far more
than the materials used for the construction of the Eifel Tower.
Burj Khalifa is the tallest manmade structure on the planet earth. In the Dubai
Mall, we visited the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, Dubai Ice Rink, Kidzania,
Dubai Fountain, The Water Fall and lots of shops.
Desert safari Drive was awesome, the drive was across the desert. We stopped to
watch the beautiful sunset before we alighted at the camp site, where we had
the opportunity to take a camel ride and sand boarding. We enjoyed a delicious
barbeque dinner and shiaha (the famous Arabic water pipe), before returning to
Dubai/Sharjah to watch our belly dancer performing her show around the camp
fire by starlight.
The Palm Jumeirah is in the shape of a palm tree, it consists of a trunk, a crown
with 17 fronds, and a surrounding crescent island that forms 11 kilometers of
land and its total area is larger than 800 football pitches.
