We also had a city tour where we drove through Kenyatta
International Conference Center, Uhuru Garden, Uhuru Park,
Memorial Park, Shopping malls, City center and NSSF Building.

Nairobi National Park- It is the first park in Kenya; the first and
only wildlife park in the world where free ranging lions and
rhinos share a city with humans.
The major attractions were the black rhinos, white rhinos, lion,
leopard, cheetah, hyena, buffaloes, giraffe, zebra, wild beast and
 400 species of birds.

Animal orphanage: The oldest animal orphanage in Kenya. It is a
refuge and rehabilitation center for wild animals found
abandoned or injured in Kenya. Animals at the facility undergo a
thorough medical examination, followed by treatment if needed.
The wild life at the orphanage are Lion, Cheetah, hyena, jackal,
servile, rare sokoke cats, warthog, ostrich, leopard, monkeys
(various species), baboons, buffalo, parrots, guinea fowl, and Practical Life Activities

David Sheldrick Orphange: This is a center for the rehabilitation
and rearing of orphaned baby elephants. It was founded by
Daphne Shelderick in honour of her husband, David Sheldrick.
The orphanage is opened to the public, from mid-day daily, when
the baby elephants come to have their mud baths.

Giraffe Center: The Giraffe center started as a refuge for the
endangered Rothschild giraffe translocated from western
Kenya. It is the perfect location to see giraffes eye-to-eye and
feed them with specially made hay –pellets which they take from
your hand using their sticky 25-inch long blue-grey tongues.

Ngong Village: This is the home of the Maasais.

Ngong Hill: is a mountain which has five peaks. The iconic range
has been immortalized as immovable waves against the sky. The
Maasais reside on and around the Ngong hill. Athletes practice
for their events there; people also see the hill as a place for
sober reflections – so people of different religion go there for
meditation. Picnics and other relaxation activities also take
 place there.
